May will bring flowers and a bang-up writing conference to Atlanta. Join Wino Writers Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Third Annual Atlanta Writers Conference. According to the AWC site:
“The goal of this conference is to give you access to top literary agents–from six renowned agencies–who will respond to your pitches, critique the work you submit in advance, and educate you about the current environment of the publishing industry and the likely trends for the near future.”
What’s more, Shamus-award winning historical mystery author David Fulmer (a Wino Writer favorite!) will provide four talks on topics like query writing and even his infamous sex and violence lecture.
We’re excited about this conference and hope you’ll join us there!
After the latest Wino Writers’ meeting, we’ve decided two things…one is that we need some inspiration this spring in the form of a conference. We’re looking into Savannah since we like the beautiful trees and courtyards and the close proximity to Atlanta. We’ll keep you posted on that…
