About Us

Wino Writers started as a complaining session after a particularly useless night writing class and has turned into a group of people who want to get out of the house and away from excuses not to write. That and we wanted to drink some wine. Occasionally we do more drinking and talking about writing or our personal lives than actual writing, but this isn’t a bad thing. We get together once every other week at one of our places and sip a fine chardonnay or a cheap pinot noir and talk frankly about the craft, our frustrations, successes, disappointments and why the hell we ever thought a career that is defined more by rejection than acceptance was a good idea.
