I found this post under the NYC Craigslist writing gigs section:

Up & coming production team pitching a sitcom to top networks is seeking a witty writer for our comedy. The pilot has already been written and we are looking for a new writer to come on board and pick up the additional episodes.
Looking for an honest, committed and funny BFA/MFA (Creative Writing/Literature) writer. Enjoys or understands the comedy of The Office, Curb your Enthusiasm, and Arrested Development.
To apply: Please write a brief (1-2 page) dialogue about two Spanish people in a laundromat.

Let’s all do the exercise for good measure and if you want, send away to the Craigslist gods…

Welcome Wino Writers!

Well, I think I’ve appropriately named our group. Write Club was taken already and after thinking about who we are and what we do, this is what I came up with. We can change it by a two thirds majority, but I like it. Let’s post our work, put new opportunities, thoughts and ideas on here and the occassional late night rant.

Have at it!
